ChemInform Abstract: Rational Catalysis Design on the Basis of Mechanistic Understanding: Highly Efficient Pd-Catalyzed Cyanation of Aryl Bromides with NaCN in Recyclable Solvents

The efficient and general Pd‐catalyzed aromatic cyanation procedure employs, NaCN — the most preferred cyanide source — in recyclable and low‐boiling solvents with minimal quantities of inexpensive, nontoxic promoters.
