ChemInform Abstract: Expedient Synthesis of cis- and trans-3-Aminocyclobutanecarboxylic Acids

The high efficiency of the title synthesis permits a multigram preparation of the amino acids (VII) and (VIII) which are the simplest cyclic conformationally restricted γ‐aminobutyric acid analogues.
