ChemInform Abstract: Synthesis, Structure and Cytotoxicity of 3-C, N, S, Se Substituted Benzo[b]selenophene Derivatives

Insertion of aryl and hetaryl groups in position 3 of benzoselenophene (I) by Stille and Sonogashira type coupling reactions and interactions of (I) with hetaryl stannanes and terminal acetylenes afford the title derivatives.
