ChemInform Abstract: Structure and Photoluminescence Properties of Ce 3+ ‐Doped Novel Silicon‐Oxynitride Ba 4‐z M z Si 8 O 20‐3x N 2x (M: Mg, Ca, Sr)

The undoped and Ce 3+ ‐doped title compounds are prepared by solid state reactions using Si 3 N 4 , SiO 2 , BaCO 3 , MgO, CaCO 3 , SrCO 3 , and CeO 2 as starting materials (BN boat, 1050—1300 °C, N 2 /5% H 2 ).
