ChemInform Abstract: Synthesis of Diisothiocyanato-Functionalized 2,2′-Bipyridines

Diaminobipyridines such as (I) and (IV) are prepared by known three‐step sequence and converted into the corresponding diisothiocyanato derivatives upon treatment with thiophosgene.
