ChemInform Abstract: Design and Synthesis of 1,4-Dihydropyridine Derivatives as BACE-1 Inhibitors

Using structure‐based drug design based on computer‐aided molecular docking, an isophthalamide moiety in a known BACE‐1 inhibitor is replaced by the 1,4‐dihydropyridine (DHP) skeleton with assumed enhanced permeability through the blood‐brain barrier.
