Frontispiece: Selective Release of Doxorubicin from Cucurbit[8]uril Stabilized Gold Supra‐Pyramid Host at pH of Small Intestine

Chemotherapeutic drug doxorubicin is used in permutation with additional medicines to treat various types of cancer including Hodgkin′s, non‐Hodgkin′s lymphoma and acute myeloid leukemia. Doxorubicin, which is intravenously administered till date, has been loaded in cucurbit[8]uril stabilized gold supra‐pyramid host for mimicking oral delivery. In this work, the release of doxorubicin from host selectively at small intestinal pH opens the possibility of oral administration of this drug in future.
