Zusammenfassung:Spontaneous double mirror symmetry breaking in anisotropic polar fluids is observed in the lamellar liquid crystalline phases of the shown achiral bent‐core molecules, where two distinct modes of supramolecular chirality develop simultaneously. One is the helix formation, driven by the escape from an emerging macroscopic polarization due to the alignment of the bend directions. The other one is caused by the developing tilt of the molecules, reducing the symmetry and leading to superstructural layer chirality. The diastereomeric relations between these two modes of mirror symmetry breaking affect the properties and the switching process. More information can be found in the Full Paper by C. Tschierske et al. on page 4714.
