Zusammenfassung: | A photochromic cyclic dipeptide reversibly changes its molecular geometry upon alternate irradiation with green and violet light. Supramolecular hydrogels formed by one isomer dissipate to fluids when exposed on green light. The nontoxic gels encapsulate various cargo, including anticancer, antibiotic, or anti‐inflammatory drugs. The cargo can be released in the light‐controlled manner. We suppressed bacterial growth with green light using the gel loaded with ciprofloxacin. More information can be found in the Full Paper by Z. L. Pianowski and J. Karcher on page 11605. |
