Zusammenfassung: | The Cover Feature illustrates the shifts in selectivity induced by the introduction of manganese to Fischer‐Tropsch cobalt catalysts. In their Full Paper, J. Paterson et al. use temperature‐programmed reduction, transmission electron microscopy elemental mapping and in situ x‐ray diffraction show the formation of CoxMnyO4 species on titania during synthesis, with Co‐Mn alloys after reduction, while 2D gas chromatography and NMR were used to analyze the FT wax product with over 50% alcohols at long carbon numbers.
