Zusammenfassung:Front Cover. The mangrove fungal strain DM815 was isolated from the rhizosphere soil of Hibiscus tiliaceus Linn, which is a shrub or arbor mainly distributed in the subtropical regions of China. Chromatographic separation on the crude extract of Penicillium sp. DM815 resulted in the isolation of one new sorbicillinoid (1), together with ten known sorbicillinoids (2–11). Then, we evaluated the anti‐inflammatory effects of the isolated sorbicillinoids (1–11) using cultured macrophage RAW264.7 cells. The results show that compounds 5 and 9 significantly inhibited the production of nitric oxide (NO), the substrate of iNOS, induced by LPS, as reported by Ding et al. in their full paper at 10.1002/cbdv.202100229.
