Zusammenfassung: | A fluorine‐free , dumbbell‐shaped block‐graft copolymer was synthesized and used as a hydrocarbon polymer electrolyte membrane for fuel cells, as reported by Il Seok Chae, Jong Hak Kim et al in their Communication (e202406796). The unique structure of the polymer chains led to the alignment of phase‐separated domains and continuous proton channels were constructed throughout the membrane. This enabled efficient proton transport and ensured stable performance. A novel design of polymer structure demonstrates a promising prospect for hydrocarbon PEMs as alternatives to PFSAs. |
