In their Communication on page 14307, Mingzhu Li et al. demonstrate a flexible, mechanically triggered color switchable sheet based on a photonic crystal‐coated polydimethylsiloxane kirigami (PhC‐PDMS kirigami) inspired by the structural color modulation of the male hummingbird. The PhC‐PDMS kirigami shows precisely programmable structural color and keeps the color very well after recycling over 10 000 times. |
