Zusammenfassung: | The construction of carbon–nitrogen bonds in reactions of organoboronic acids with N‐alkyl hydroxylamines is described by D. Niu and co‐workers from Sichuan University (Sichuan is the hometown of the panda, and the gate in the picture is that of Sichuan University) in their Communication on page 9456 ff. These reactions proceed in the presence of trichloroacetonitrile but in the absence of any added metal or base and can be used to couple two complex units, such as carbohydrates and peptides. |
