Zusammenfassung:The novel allyltitanate 1 containing two identical (chiral) carbohydrate ligands can allylate saturated, unsaturated, and aromatic aldehydes to give homoallyl alcohols with high enantioselectivity. The reagent can be easily prepared from CpTiCl3, commercially available 1,2:5,6‐di‐O‐isopropylidene‐D‐glucose, and allylmagnesium chloride. CpTiCl3 and the chiral auxiliary can be recovered.
