Dimeric Bis(di-tert-butylphosphino)stannanediyl: A Cyclic Phosphorus-Tin Ylide

The tin compound (tBu2P)2Sn, which is analogous to a carbene, is the first stannylene to be substituted only by R2P groups and also the first kinetically stable P—Sn ylide. Dimers (1) are present in benzene (red solution) (R  tBu).
