Efficient Synthesis of β,γ-Alkynyl α-Amino Acid Derivatives by Ag(I)-Catalyzed Alkynylation of α-Imino Esters

The first catalytic synthesis of β,γ‐alkynyl α‐amino acid derivatives was achieved by direct addition of terminal alkynes to α‐imino esters in the presence of an Ag(I) salt under mild reaction conditions.
