Zusammenfassung:Biomaterials In article number 2205709, Christian C. Schreib, Omid Veiseh, and co‐workers explore how lipid deposition affects the way the body responds to implanted biomaterials. They discover that certain types of phospholipids tend to accumulate on immune‐evasive implants, while different sets of fatty acid lipids deposit on immunogenic implants. These lipids directly impact the transcriptome of macrophages found on the surface of the implant materials.
