Zusammenfassung:An alternative, silicon‐carbon and all‐carbon anodes for lithium sulfur batteries are fabricated on page 1284 by S. Kaskel and co‐workers. In contrast to the commonly used metallic lithium anodes, these anodes do not suffer from electrolyte depletion, which is the main cause of cell failure in standard lithium sulfur cells. Using these anodes, for the first time, a balanced and stable lithium sulfur full cell with a low amount of electrolyte, high sulfur utilization and areal capacity is demonstrated.
