Traffic Accident Analysis and Construction of the GIS Support System in Higashihiroshima City

The purposes of this study are to develop the support system to the traffic accidents in one case visually, to provide detailed information, to analyze various traffic accident occurrence conditions by the factors and to accumulate the traffic accident data for a long term. This system is the basic system to predict a future traffic accident occurrence and to effect on improvement countermeasures. This system is also able to indicate the traffic accident occurrence points on one sheet of map and also to indicate the details by the zoom function.
