Exploring CI/CD Pipelines for Cloud Infrastructure Deployment Can one increase efficiency through amalgamation?

Cloud computing has seen a massive surge in popularity over the last decade, and these days it is the go-to solution for many companies and private actors alike when it comes to how they chose to run their programs, systems or storage. With the everincreased emphasis on scaling and efficiency that this popularity causes, researchers and administrators within the industry have begun turning their attention to DevOps principles, particularly the use of CI/CD pipelines to handle the demand, but such implementations are still relatively uncharted territory. This paper presents an overview of such CI/CD pipelines, the core concept and how such implementations have been attempted, before presenting an experimental pipeline implementation that could potentially contribute to the building of future cloud infrastructure deployments.
