Zusammenfassung:The aim of the here presented research was to investigate the potential of two-pass differential InSAR, and advanced DInSAR techniques, such as Small Baseline Subset (SBAS) and Persistent Scatterers (PS) interferometry, in order to detect and monitor the temporal behaviour of surface deformations in selected areas of the Garhwal and Kumaon Himalaya. We present results from the surroundings of the town of Nainital, from the Mansa Devi Hills area, and the areas around the cities of Chamoli Gopeshwar and Joshimath.
