Philosophy – Philosophy of Religion. – The most important recent event in this field is the translation of Durkheim’s Elementary Forms of the Religious Life. Durkheim’s application of primitive sociology to the interpretation of religion has already been widely adopted. Its influence is to be found, for example, in W.K.
