Zusammenfassung:OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effect of the tradition-al Chinese procedure abdominal Tuina (AT) onchronic fatigue syndrome (CFS).METHODS" This randomized, single assessor-blind-ed clinical trial was carried out from May 2014 toApril 2015. Eighty participants in the trial were di-vided randomly into two groups: experimentalgroup and control. The experimental group (40 cas-es) was treated by AT and the control group (40 cas-es) by acupuncture. Each treatment was conductedonce a day, 5 d for one course, at an interval of 2 dbetween each course. The whole treatment courselasted for 4 weeks. To ascertain the effect of AT andacupuncture, Fatigue Scale-14 (FS-14), Self-ratingAnxiety Scale (SAS) and Hamilton Rating Scale forDepression (HAMD) scores were used before and af-ter treatment. Patients were followed up for3 months after treatment.
