arlyEnvironment Concept and National Beliefs：The Innovative Significance and Direction of Aesthetics Research Lei Li - xi （ School of Fine Art, Hubei University of Art and Science, Xiangyang, Hubei, 441053）It is innovative and challenging to discuss the relationship between the environment concept and national beliefs in view of Aesthetics, especially those in the early stage. There were many thinkers probing the relationship between them and clearing the rela- tion between the awareness of territory, unity, strength and national beliefs and environment concept, constituting the theoretical basis inaesthetic field. Meanwhile, the results of the 20th century research show that, in the Xia Dynasty and before, the environment con- cept with natural aesthetic consciousness and environmental transformation experiences is significant to develop the early awareness of national unity and governance spirit, showing an environmental aesthetic mechanism of early Chinese spiritual construction.
