Fractals of Solid Surfaces After Dissolution and Etching

A knowledge of the variation in the roughness of solid surfaces in dissolution or etch-ing process is useful for the extraction of ores,the corrosion of metals,the treatment ofsurfaces and the etching of materials.In recent years much work has been done on theroughness of solid surfaces in deposition processes by fractal methods.However,rare isthe fractal research on solid surface in dissolution or etching process.In this note,wereport our preliminary results obtained by typical experiments and computer simulation.
