Zusammenfassung: | The concept of histamine in brain as a transmitter or modulator has already beenaccepted.Recent neuroanatomic studies have revealed the hypothalamo-cerebellarhistaminergic pathways. The histamine containing fibers projects from tuberomammillarynucleus of hypothalamus to cerebellar cortex and deep cerebellar nuclei, and the highestdensity of the histaminergic terminations is in granule cell layer of vermis and flocculus. The presence of histamine receptors was also demonstrated in cerebellar cortical neurons. |
