THE NONEXISTENCE OF EXPANSIVE FLOW ON A COMPACT 2-MANIFOLD

This paper makes some investigation to the qūestion whether there exists an expansiveflow on some compact metric space.The main result is that there exists no expansive flowon a compact 2-manifold.
