Zusammenfassung: | The focusing properties of a partially coherent and partially polarized beam focused by a high numerical aperture (NA) objective are investigated. The influence of the degree of polarization and the correlation length of the incident beam and the numerical aperture of the objective on the intensity and degree of polarization in the focal region is studied. It is shown that the intensity and degree of polarization in the focal region change with the degree of polarization and the correlation length of the incident beam. |
