Srednjovjekovni bosanski gradovi

This paper presents very briefly and short and describes the origin and history of medieval Bosnian towns from the 12th century to the 15th century based on the relevant literature. Bosnian kings built the kingdom on the fortified cities in which they ruled, so they have not only political, military-strategic and architectural significance but also represent the processes of great cultural development of the Middle ages Bosnian society. The fortified towns arose on important communication routes along rivers or on hills predominanthly. They dominated the surroundings with their appearance and were very important and well-defended fortiifications for the defense of the kingdom.
