Znaczenie glonów brunatnych (Phaeophyceae) i ich wpływ na organizmy roślinne i zwierzęce

The aim of the present study was to show the importance of algae belonging to the class of brown algae (Phaeophyceae) in various branches of the economy. The article presents a short description of these organisms and indicates the most important substances produced by this group. The possibilities of using brown seaweeds in agriculture with particular emphasis on plant production are discussed. Attention was also paid to the possibility of using brown algae in medicine, pharmacy and cosmetology as well as their impact on the human body was explained.
