Zusammenfassung: | Based on the latest research we could conclude that the Božić' Cave is an archaeological site which has been ransacked (scalps, big bones, pieces of ceramics etc. were removed), but there is still enough material which could be worthy of investigation and throw light onto the mysterious death of many the Kordun region’s inhabitants. The cave is very interesting as a potholing-biological object. It would be necessary that The Croatian Ministry of Culture’s Department for the Protection of Cultural Heritage’s, Conservatory Department in Karlovac makes a detailed project for the protection of the natural and cultural values of the cave which are detailed through the regulations of the Law of Protection of Nature (2003). We hope that this mystery, first detailed by Ljudevit Rossi in 1878, will be resolved. |
