Zusammenfassung:This research was conducted to examine the relationship between music teachers’ perceptions of their own professional qualification and their life and job satisfaction. The research group is composed of 220 music teachers who worked in both public and private schools. A survey consisted of four parts is used for data collection. First part of the questionnaire consists of personal information form to find out some demographic features of music teachers. Second part consists of “Music Teachers Professional Competency Scale” to evaluate music teachers’ perception of their professional competency. Third part consists of “Life Satisfaction Scale” to evaluate teacher’s general life satisfaction levels. Lastly, fourth part consists of “Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale” to evaluate teacher’s job satisfaction levels. Research concludes that, there is a positive and weak correlation between music teachers’ perception of their professional qualification and life satisfaction, there is a positive and weak correlation between music teachers’ general, inner and external job satisfaction, there is a positive and weak correlation between life satisfaction, and inner and external professional satisfaction of music teachers, along with a positive moderate correlation between their general job satisfaction and life satisfaction levels.
