Zusammenfassung: | After the end of the Cold War, Russian Federation felt the need to express, one way or another, an attitude towards the Western approach regarding the world order. Given the current international environment and a seemingly lower involvement of the main international actors, Moscow can consolidate its influence in certain areas of interest, by efficiently using limited resources. In fact, the Russian foreign policy is based on a constant effort to remind the international community that it is a great power and that it has interests in areas including the Middle East, which are to be respected. |
