Zusammenfassung: | After the seizure of power by the communists in Czechoslovakia in February 1948, a time of mass injustice and persecution came, and brutal repressions also affected the army corps. For many officers, fleeing abroad was the only solution in the ever worsening circumstances, and therefore they looked for someone who would help them do so. Some found recourse in their colleague Josef Kejda, for whom helping several friends – Czechoslovak “Western” soldiers, almost cost him his life. |
