Rolul foilor volante în organizarea sinoadelor Bisericii Române Unite (sec. XIX)

The study presents the most iconic institution of the Transylvanian Romanians in the modern era. The author describes the deliberative and decisional nature of the synod under the aegis of the Uniate Romanian Church. Flysheets had an essential role in administering the Uniate Church between 1700 and 1900, by planning, organising and development of the synods, subsequently, spreading the decisions taken within synodal debates. The institutional and cultural affiliation that defined the modern Greek-Catholic identity was the constant, the typical red line under the control of which the synods were organised and synodal debates were carried out.
