Zusammenfassung: | The wide spectrum of indicators of health and disease status including as measurement of mortality, morbidity and disability and as well as the subjective measures of quality of life, relates problems of their comparability. At the data, errors in measurement birth health and disease, possible ways at avoiding all types of bias.
The aim of this paper is to make an attempt to answer these questions based on both self experience and statements of other authors.
Assessment of the most frequently used indicators shows the absence of both the standardised methods for data collection between the countries and regular control on the data quality. In terms of the above it makes the data analysis difficult besides the standardisation of the World Health Organisation (WHO). The main conclusion of this comparison is the need of standardised methodology and criteria for studying both health status and diseases. The basis of such demographic data could be used not only for comparisons on the national and international level but also as a background of the countries' Public Health policy. |
