Aplikačné problémy oprávnenia na zastavovanie dopravného prostriedku

The Act of the National Council of the Slovak republic on the Police Force no. 171/1993 Coll. dated 06. July, 1993 in paragraph 23 regulates one of the many police authorizations, namely the authority to stop and security search of vehicle. The author analyze only the first part of this authority, namely the authority to stop a vehicle. In police and judicial practice, it is possible to encounter inconsistent interpretation of some parts of this article, sometimes to the extreme ad absurdum. Given the specificity of the issue, it compares the problem with the selected EU Member State.
