Zusammenfassung:Abdullah Zymberi with his two works “Dictionary of Rare Words” (1979) and "Folk Dictionary - with about 20,000 words", as well as with the work "Agricultural and livestock lexicon of the Albanian dialects of Montenegro” (1996) has already occupied his deserved place in the ranks of Albanian lexicographers. In this study, the author focuses on the "Dictionary of Rare Words" for two main reasons: it is the author's first lexicographical work and has a very wide geo-linguistic extent in proportion to the much smaller number of words it contains. For a general assessment, according to the identifying data of the dialects in this "Dictionary ..." and authentic examples, it can be stated that the words are almost entirely of the dialect of North Kosova and Albania, so this is a dialectical dictionary , mainly of the dialects of northern and northeastern Gheg. But a wide range of words belong to narrow dialects, which gives this work the nature of a regional dictionary. So we have a dialectical and a regional dictionary, mixed and focused, with no obvious differences. This also justifies its title, "Dictionary of Rare Words" and not "Dictionary of Speech ...", which, apparently, is the author's conscious choice. Thus, both from the subject and from the lexicographical treatment, the work becomes a source of reference and a good contribution for our dialectology.
