Zusammenfassung:This paper analyses the most prominent features of anglicisms used in German and Croatian internet communication. Firstly, it focuses on the frequency analysis of anglicisms and secondly on their orthographical, morphological, syntactic and semantic integration to the related linguistic system. In the presented research it has also been tried to reveal the motivation for the use of anglicisms in German and Croatian internet communication and to find out the reasons lying behind the preference of English terms rather than the native ones.
