Zusammenfassung:Consistent with the obligations entered by ratifying the international legal instruments, Romania has transposed to its national legislation several legal rules specific to the activities of international judicial cooperation in criminal matters, contributing in this way directly to the general activity of prevention and control. Similar to the general European tendencies, by amending and completing the Constitution and subsequently by giving a special law, the Romanian state substantially changed its position regarding the extradition of its own citizens, acknowledging this procedure.
