In the present pages there is a rendition of a teenage girl diary from Năsăud,named Maria Elena Micşa, written between 1938 and 1941, during a difficult period inthe author’s short life, marked by the separation of her parents, the beginning of theSecond World War and her poor physical health.The diary, which shows a true literary talent of the author, was written inConstanţa, where Maria Elena Micşa had moved with her mother in order to find amore suitable climate to her health. Unfortunately, she will die there shortly after, in1942.
