Zusammenfassung:Position of the children with special needs in Croatia is still unfavorable. In spite of their right for individualized educational program, they often do not actualize it. In accordance to Bronfenbrener’s theory and actual approach towards special needs it seems that the emphasis should be put on considering factors of the environment that have impact on pupils, and not so on disability of the child. This research is aimed to determine does the fact that child has special need influence the estimations of his behaviour made by parents, teachers and peers. 81 pupils with special needs, 231 peers from the 6. grade of primary school, their parents and teachers participate in the study. They fulfilled Behavior Rating Profile Scale (BRP-2, Brown i Hammill, 1990). Results show that estimations of children’s behaviour are significantly lower for pupils with special needs than for typical pupils. There are some correlations between self-estimations of behaviour and estimations made by parents and teachers.
