Zusammenfassung:In order to examine the historical period of World War I and Bismarck’s role in it, this article is based on the theory of Berger /Luckmann in their book The Social Construction of Reality. Such a theory demonstrates the reality, in a particular way, this historical period which is reconstructed by using documents of that time as well as current articles. These articles deal with discussing a plan to eliminate some of those monuments of Bismarck present in many locations of Germany. While negative emblems that identified the horrors of World War II that have been untouched for all these years, those monuments of Bismarck seem to emanate the volition to eradicate those memories. On the occasion of the Centenary of the end of World War I, I am grateful to have the opportunity to examine Bismarck’s role, who even as a dead man , influenced everybody with such authority which lasted throughout the Great Conflict. It is here that I feel it is my due to relate the facts with subjectivity and awareness that History is to be reported without hate.
