Zusammenfassung:The article presents the results of refitting analysis of lithic materials from the Byuza II site (the northern part of the Krasnoyarsk reservoir). The artifacts, which come from Early Holocene deposits, demonstrare well pronounced Palaeolithic features and close analogies with the Kokorevo culture and, to some extent, with microblade industries of the Yenisei area. This suggests that the Paleolithic tradition persisted here through the Early Holocene period. The analysis of 47 refitted objects consisting of 146 artifacts has revealed three ways to obtain blanks: 1. Production of big blades from single-platform or double-platform cores made on pebbles; 2. Production of small blades and bladelets from wide-faced and narrow-sided cores; 3. Production of microblades from narrow-sided and wedge-shaped cores. All these strategies are common for the Palaeolithic of the Yenisei; however, Byuza II is the first industry where they co-exist.
