Zusammenfassung:This paper aims to present the current state of the archival material of the socialist period in the Slavonski Brod State Archives. Through the selected funds, the current archival legislation of the Republic of Croatia will be problematized, in the context of the announcement of the new Archives and Archives Act, with a special emphasis on the role of politics and the problem of accessibility.
