Zusammenfassung:People from the contemporary media have two main issues in writing news: they do not have time to document anymore and their use of Latin words and sayings, in inappropriate contexts in order to seem literate. From media, those expressions go to Internet, and spread without any control. In what follows, we have chosen several examples of misused Latin words and few problems with their spelling, pronunciation and translation, which we encountered in print and visual media, and on the Internet, too.
