Çatışmadan İşbirliğine: Türkiye, Rusya ve İran

In the Eurasian region covering the European and Asian lands extending from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean; historical powers have left the marks that will not be wiped out in the history of civilization of the world, and today the increasing effects of successors of these forces continue. The Turks, Russians and Iranians founded the three ancient empires of the Eurasian region; the military, political, economic and social forces; the historical, religious, sectarian, racial and cultural ties to the region; the common civilization they share, and their power increases against global actors. In this study, the three important countries of the Eurasian region will be examined by the determining factors and new cooperation options that have been shaped the relations between Turkey, Russia and Iran from the past to the present. Within the framework of geopolitical realities and neorealist theory the following questions “Is it possible to put aside the mutual historical prejudices of the Turkish-Russian-Iranian trio?”, “Can the mutual existing friendly-enemy perception be redefined by taking into consideration common interests and gains?”, “Is the political and military cooperation initiated specifically for Syria sustainable in other sovereignties and spheres of influence? will be investigated.
