During his existence, Petre Stoica had numerous literary friends, from the same generation, or even from the one of his precursors. The strong bonds between them, the elective affinities, were surprised not few times in the remarkable lines, laid in his books of memoirs. These lines represent even today permanencies of a defining existence, of an accomplished life on this wonderful realm of the indestructible heartfelt connections, of the true friendship. Both the memoirs, and the journal fragments, represent a landmark in Petre Stoica’s spiritual bibliography. In equal measure, they help us understand Petre Stoica, the man and the writer.
