The author deals with the basic characteristics of appeal on the verdict. The author first defines the term of appeal, indicating the deadlines for filing the same, then points to the holders of the right to appeal against the first instance judgment and analyzes their scope of the right to dispose of the appeal. After that, the author deals with the legal elements of the appeal against the first instance judgment and legal grounds on which the first instance verdict may be contested by the appeal. At the end, instead of a conclusion the author gives basic guidelines for the quality of drafting an appeal on the verdict.
